Dr Adeel Khan

Having graduated from the University of Nottingham, Adeel completed an equine internship at the University of Queensland in Australia followed by an equine internal medicine residency at the University of Melbourne in Australia. Following this he returned to the UK and completed a number of roles in academia and private clinical practice. Since 2021, Adeel has returned to the University of Nottingham and is a clinical assistant professor in equine internal medicine at the University of Nottingham. He splits his time with clinical teaching and training at the University and when he is with us, he provides a specialist medicine referral service at Pool House Equine Hospital. Adeel enjoys all aspects of internal medicine with his main clinical interests being: Cardiology, neonatal medicine, and critical care.
